About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program based out of Panama City, FL. The qualified candidate will support the Joint & Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program, providing IT support to expeditionary C2 and C4I military systems.

Requirements

Support for Operation and Maintenance is typically 5 days a week for each C4I FoS fielded system.
Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week per person may be required during contingency operations (deployments or exercises).
An alternate work schedule may be required to support 24/7 operations.
Typical core hours are 0800 to 1700.

Responsibilities

Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite.
Development and integration of new software and technology.
Management of trouble tickets and reporting of issues and actions taken daily and weekly.
Communicate effectively with end users via phone, email, chat, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in timely manner according to mission guidelines.
Installation of new hardware or software.
Creating and managing user accounts.
Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases.
Planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems.
May include light programming or scripting to make the system workflows easier.
Training computer users and assistants.
