About The Position

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Junior Support Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for the effective administration of business operations for an office, department, or division. The specialist will support the planning and implementation of information, business, and management projects, programs, or services, using discretion in organizing, analyzing, and reporting research results. The position involves interfacing with internal/external customers and vendors to determine business or program support needs, and may include billing/charge-back responsibilities. The Junior Support Specialist will serve as a liaison between ASH representatives and customers, communicating promptly, professionally, and managing expectations. They will resolve client requests and questions, provide analysis of situations, and participate in quality improvement activities, including recording and analyzing trends and developing reports. The role also involves coordinating referrals to technical, professional, or service personnel, and potentially performing property delegate functions. Maintaining documentation, assuring acceptable administrative services are provided within budget and on schedule, and carrying out recurring office procedures independently are key aspects of this position. Reviewing outgoing materials for consistency and conformance with procedures, and composing correspondence requiring technical understanding are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • AA/AS in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must.
  • Candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance.
  • Verification of past employment, education and references is also required.
  • Candidates must be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the effective administration of business operations for an office, department, or division.
  • Support the planning and implementation of information, business, and management projects, programs, or services.
  • Use discretion in organizing, analyzing, and reporting research results on a variety of subjects.
  • Interface with internal/external customers and vendors to determine business or program support needs.
  • May include billing/charge-back responsibilities.
  • Serve as liaison between ASH representative and internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for communicating promptly, professionally and managing expectations.
  • Resolves client requests, questions, and provides analysis of situations.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Record and analyze trends.
  • Develop reports as requested.
  • Coordinate referrals to technical, professional, or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up.
  • May perform property delegate functions to manager accountable property to ASH support property custodians.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation.
  • Assures that acceptable administrative services are provided to the client within budget, on schedule and with a minimum of disruption.
  • Carries out recurring office procedures independently.
  • Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with office procedures; assures that proper clearances have been obtained.
  • Compose correspondence requiring some technical understanding.
