Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location. We’re entrepreneurs with a technical soul. Requirements

  • Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
  • Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Knowledge of structural steel and concrete design
  • Knowledge of using IBC, ACI and AISC code

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • FE / E.I.T certification in hand and asset
  • 3D analytical software experiences an asset
  • Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Structural Engineer in developing project scopes, engineering estimates, capital cost estimates and developing repair methodologies
  • Apply Civil / Structural engineering principles to provide efficient, effective, economical and timely solutions to design problems in a multidiscipline project environment
  • Directly apply and develop knowledge in structural steel, concrete and foundation design for building and equipment support structures
  • Design structures and components
  • Gain valuable on-site practical experience
  • Perform assignments related to your sector
  • Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
  • Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
  • Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
  • Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
