About The Position

This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of file storage services, including the creation and management of file systems and shares (SMB/NFS), and basic quota configuration and capacity monitoring. The position also assists in block storage management, including the creation and modification of LUNs under supervision, and supports LUN masking and host presentation activities. Additionally, the role participates in SAN operations such as assisting with zoning tasks (FC / iSCSI) and supporting connectivity and troubleshooting. The engineer will also assist in configuring and monitoring replication mechanisms, gain understanding of synchronous and asynchronous replication, perform first-level troubleshooting of storage incidents, and execute operational procedures following documented standards. Maintaining and updating technical documentation and working closely with senior team members to build technical expertise are also key aspects of this position.
