Clinical Services, Junior Specimen Processor
About The Position
Castle Biosciences is hiring a full-time Clinical Services, Junior Specimen Processor to work in its Scottsdale, Arizona office. This entry-level position supports Clinical Services operations by receiving, organizing, and distributing incoming specimens from pathology laboratories, hospitals, and clinics. The processor opens shipments, verifies specimens against accompanying documentation, sorts specimens by test type, and delivers them to the appropriate laboratory areas and personnel in a timely manner. The role also supports recordkeeping through filing and scanning documents, provides operational support as directed by supervisors, and follows Company policies, applicable standard operating procedures, and quality requirements to maintain an accurate and efficient workflow. The schedule is Monday through Friday, in office five days per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, with a start on or before November 23, 2026. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Castle Biosciences does not sponsor H-1B visas, OPT, or employment-related visas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Open incoming specimen shipments from pathology laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and other sources.
- Verify that each specimen is matched with the appropriate accompanying documentation.
- Sort specimens according to test type and distribute them to the appropriate laboratory areas for processing.
- Ensure timely delivery of specimens to designated personnel.
- Assist with recordkeeping activities, including filing and scanning documents.
- Provide operational support as directed by supervisors.
- Follow Company policies, applicable standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
