About The Position

Castle Biosciences is hiring a full-time Clinical Services, Junior Specimen Processor to work in its Scottsdale, Arizona office. The entry-level role supports Clinical Services operations by receiving, organizing, and distributing incoming specimens. The processor opens shipments from pathology laboratories, hospitals, and clinics and verifies that each specimen is matched with its accompanying documentation. Specimens are sorted by test type and delivered to the appropriate laboratory areas and personnel in a timely manner. The role also supports recordkeeping through filing and scanning documents, provides other operational support as directed by supervisors, and follows company policies, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements to maintain accurate and efficient workflows.

The position is in-office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Scottsdale, Arizona office. The start date is on or before November 23, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Open incoming specimen shipments from pathology laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and other sources.
• Verify that specimens are matched with the appropriate accompanying documentation.
• Sort specimens according to test type and distribute them to the appropriate laboratory areas.
• Ensure specimens are delivered to designated personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with recordkeeping, including filing and scanning documents.
• Provide operational support as directed by supervisors.
• Follow company policies, applicable standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
