About The Position

Russmedia is Vorarlberg's leading media company with a strong foothold in digital growth companies. One of these is Alpy.com – Europe's largest and most innovative online marketplace for ski rental since 2006. Skiers from all over Europe find their local rental shop through us – and our partner shops in the Alps find their online guests through us. We are growing continuously, strategically expanding our DACH Sales Team, and are looking for you to further develop our partner network in DACH: building, supporting, and developing our direct partner shops in the Alpine ski resorts – residing in Tyrol or Vorarlberg.

Requirements

  • You have gained initial practical experience (job, long-term internship, dual study) and want to really get started in sales – with clear onboarding and responsibility from the start.
  • German at native speaker level, and you can confidently manage in English within the team and with international partners.
  • Class B driver's license – you will be regularly on the road in the ski regions.
  • You know the sports industry and personally enjoy skiing or snowboarding – you speak the language of our partners and guests.
  • AI & Tech Savvy: AI is your daily companion – you naturally use Claude, ChatGPT & Co. for research, texts, pitches, outreach. Modern, AI-driven work excites you rather than overwhelming you.
  • You enjoy approaching people, can listen, and field work is not a disadvantage for you, but the appeal of the task.
  • Your place of residence: Tyrol or Vorarlberg.

Nice To Haves

  • Initial B2B sales experience (internship, working student job, first employment).
  • Experience with modern CRM tools.
  • Further language skills – French or Italian (due to our sister teams in France and Italy).
  • Academic background in Business Administration, Tourism, Sports Management, or related fields.
  • Own ski resort or ski rental experience (e.g., seasonal job in ski rental during studies).

Responsibilities

  • You will be the personal bridge between our online platform and the local ski rental shops.
  • You will gain new partners, manage your existing accounts, and develop them strategically – Sales, Account Management, and Account Development in one.
  • You will start alongside our experienced DACH Sales Captain – he is your mentor and sparring partner.
  • Your goal: to understand the ski rental business from the ground up, get to know our partners, become their reliable point of contact – and step by step, bring on and develop your own partners.
  • Phase 1 – Onboarding (Months 1–3): Understand the added value we provide to our partner shops – more bookings, more efficiency, more success. Understand our commission and business model and be able to explain it confidently to a shop owner. Go through the online booking process end-to-end – from the customer's and shop's perspective. Get to know our existing direct partners in DACH – who they are, what they need, how we support them.
  • Phase 2 – Out into the mountains: Joint shop visits in pairs at existing and new partner shops in the ski regions. You will gradually become the personal point of contact for our DACH direct partners – reliably reachable, present on-site, solution-oriented. Joint Sales Calls and Outbound: first listen and learn, then take over, later lead independently. Lead and partner processing in our modern CRM stack.
  • Phase 3 – Own responsibility: You will gain your first direct partners and close your first contracts independently. You will take over the support of your partners throughout the season – from the pre-season briefing to the season evaluation. You will continuously develop your partner accounts – together with the shop, you will look for levers for more bookings and deeper cooperation.
