This role supports the sales team in promoting and selling association management services to prospective associations and board members. The Junior Sales Associate will prepare sales proposals, contracts, presentations, and marketing materials. They will coordinate and track leads, follow-ups, and sales activity, and schedule sales meetings and board presentations. Maintaining accurate records of client communications, proposals, contracts, and onboarding documentation is crucial. The position requires collaboration with operations and management teams to ensure a smooth transition for newly onboarded communities. Effective communication, both in person and via telecommunications, is essential for interacting with clients and co-workers. The role demands strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and work autonomously with limited supervision, set priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adjust to change. Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also required. The associate will perform routine bookkeeping functions, organize and schedule appointments, plan meetings and take minutes, write and distribute correspondence, and assist in preparing reports. Knowledge of various sales techniques is a plus.
