About The Position

Assists with interviewing, screening, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, and administrative roles across the company. The role requires developing basic interviewing skills, understanding core personnel policies, and learning federal and state employment regulations. Under guidance from senior team members, the Junior Recruiter helps ensure candidates move smoothly through the hiring process while building foundational knowledge of employment practices and recruiting procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field (internships or administrative experience welcome).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight timelines.
  • High level of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting training or onboarding activities is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens under guidance from senior recruiters/supervisors.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Build positive relationships with applicants, hiring managers, and internal staff.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Support the recruiting team with administrative tasks and project work.
  • Provide basic assistance with training logistics such as scheduling sessions and updating training records.
