About The Position

NineTwoThree AI Studio is seeking a Strong Junior QA Manual Engineer who is driven to create the best software possible. This is a full-time, 100% remote position within a global team. The company, founded in 2012 and based in Boston, is a remote-first product design, engineering, and marketing studio that builds AI-powered web and mobile apps for major brands and startups. Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of industry experience in QA or Software Engineering
  • Good knowledge of the QA process, terminology, and methodology.
  • Experience in manual testing of Web and Mobile Applications.
  • Good understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and standards (test plan, test design, test case, checklist, SDLC)
  • Experience in web testing (Rest API and Dev tools).
  • Successfully completed QA courses
  • Autonomy and attentiveness
  • Desire to grow and work in a team
  • Ability to prioritize their time and dynamically adapt to the team's needs.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

  • Review documentation and analyze requirements
  • Plan and estimate testing activities
  • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
  • Report and document technical issues, report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Create test cases
  • Perform manual Functional, Regression, and Exploratory testing (Web, Mobile)
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Monitor applications and software systems
  • Present findings to software development and business user teams
  • Effectively collaborate with team members to achieve the best results
