About The Position

We're seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our growing Project Management team. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who enjoys solving problems, coordinating multiple initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. We encourage team members to gain cross-departmental experience early in their tenure so they fully understand our clients and our product. This will include 3−6 months of training on Lastmile technology, processes, and systems, including shadowing key team members. As a Junior Project Manager, you'll help manage projects from kickoff through completion by supporting planning, tracking timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule. You'll work closely with senior leadership while gaining hands-on experience managing projects that directly impact the business.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, operations, or a related role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience using project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • This role requires physical residency in the US; we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or support remote work from outside the country.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and closing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and task trackers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and follow up on deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, roadblocks, or scope changes.
  • Communicate project status updates to internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure information is up to date.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying workflow efficiencies.
  • Track project metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Assist with resource planning and prioritization across multiple initiatives.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and business objectives are met.
  • Support change management and project implementation activities as new initiatives are launched.
