Requirements

  • Prior project management/estimating experience in the commercial construction industry preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize time and project needs
  • Ability to interface well with work crews
  • Proficient in technology-based applications
  • Ability to adapt to change in order to meet project goals/deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Using technology to update project schedules, provide daily logs to clients and process purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
  • Review scope of work and estimating to generate a project schedule
  • Notify trade partners of project schedule forecast and update regularly as project progresses
  • Review Trade/Vendor invoicing prior to payment submission and check for accuracy
  • Write any Change Orders needed for variance from original scope of work/contract
  • Supervise the work of field crews and give them guidance, when needed
  • Conduct regular project progress meeting with client and operations manager
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment, including OSHA requirements
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
  • Acquire equipment and material
  • Review job tracking on a regular basis and analyze any deficiencies
  • Create list of project materials to be ordered
  • Schedule inspections, as needed
  • Visit job sites and manage project foremen/crew
