Role Summary The Junior Project Coordinator will provide in-office project support across EPD's project delivery departments by helping keep documentation, data, and core workflows accurate, organized, and moving. This role is built for someone with grit, strong follow-through, and a desire to grow in a professional services environment. Success in the role comes from reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly while supporting the day-to-day execution that helps teams deliver for clients. Top Outcomes Accurate, Organized Project and Administrative Records: Maintain complete, current, and accessible files, logs, and records that support work across billable departments. Outcome: Teams can quickly find what they need, records stay current, and administrative gaps do not create unnecessary delays. Timely Data Entry That Keeps Work Moving: Complete data entry and routine system updates accurately and on time across assigned workflows. Outcome: Information is reliable, trackers stay up to date, and teams can make decisions using current data. Reliable Documentation Delivery: Prepare, route, distribute, and file documents in support of internal processes, project needs, and client-facing work. Outcome: The right documentation gets to the right people at the right time, reducing confusion and improving execution. Consistent Process Initiation and Follow-Through: Follow standard workflows, complete required administrative steps, and track routine follow-ups to closure. Outcome: Administrative processes begin on time, required steps are not missed, and teams have better visibility into status and next actions. Strong Administrative Quality Control: Review documents, records, and routine workflows for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with established department standards. Outcome: Errors, missing information, and process breakdowns are identified early, reducing rework and downstream disruption. Professional Internal Service and Responsiveness: Communicate clearly, respond promptly, and follow through consistently with internal teams and partners. Outcome: Teams trust that support requests will be handled professionally, updates will be clear, and commitments will be met. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-field submittals and other deliverables as needed to support projects.
  • Support internal departments with administrative work that helps projects, deliverables, and internal processes stay organized and on track.
  • Enter, update, and maintain internal data in trackers, systems, and internal records with accuracy and consistency.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files so information is complete, current, and easy to access based on established naming conventions and folder structures.
  • Compile, route, distribute, and file documents that support internal workflows, project coordination, and client deliverables.
  • Audit records, forms, and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with established procedures.
  • Identify missing information, inconsistencies, and overdue items, and escalate issues early when follow-up is needed.
  • Support recurring administrative needs such as preparing meeting materials, status updates, document preparation, and internal coordination.
  • Assist with document delivery, printing, formatting, and other logistical support that helps teams execute efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding task status, missing items, and next steps.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and provide support where administrative needs are greatest.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and follow-through in all assigned work.
  • Some driving to locations in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and San Diego County may be required.
