Junior Production Support/SRE Analyst
About The Position
This role is part of the Alumni graduate program, designed to provide graduates with training, support, and opportunities at leading global employers, specifically within technology at investment banks. mthree partners with tier one investment banks and other organizations to place graduates. The program includes training at mthree Academy, followed by a 12-24 month client placement with ongoing support and salary increases. The majority of participants convert to permanent employees with the client after the program. Production support is a vital role in enterprise technology, focusing on the technical systems and processes that other teams rely on, akin to 'healthcare for technology'.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, math).
- A GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Ability to troubleshoot, taking an analytical approach to solve problems.
- The right to work in Canada without needing visa sponsorship.
- French proficiency required for roles in Quebec province.
- Both French & English may be a requirement of the position.

Responsibilities
- Look after the technical systems and processes other teams rely on.
- Discuss production support activity at a high level including ITIL, monitoring, DevOps, SRE, and disaster recovery.
- Discuss common financial topics, including financial markets, equity trading, derivatives, currency, treasury, regulation, and risk.
- Write a basic computer program in Python, including user input, common data structures, and flow of control.
- Use MySQL to perform CRUD operations on a relational database stored in a MySQL Server.
