About The Position
Sherwood Park Hyundai is seeking a Junior Parts Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. Sherwood Park Hyundai is part of the AutoCanada dealership network, the largest Canadian-owned and publicly traded automotive dealer group in Canada and the US. Requirements
- Previous customer service or retail experience is an asset.
- CDK Experience is preferred.
- Automotive knowledge or experience in a parts department is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn dealership software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers, technicians, and the service department with identifying and sourcing automotive parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately.
- Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming inventory.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient parts department.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely parts availability.
- Learn manufacturer systems, parts catalogues, and dealership processes.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
