About The Position

The Newviews Agency is seeking a detail-oriented, curious, and motivated individual to join as a Junior Paid Media Assistant. This is a junior, learning-forward role where eagerness to grow in paid media, willingness to ask questions, and seriousness about doing the work are key. The assistant will work closely with the Senior Paid Media Strategist, supporting the day-to-day management of active client campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn. The role involves learning the tools, reporting process, and strategy behind decisions, with increasing ownership over time as skills develop. The assistant will help manage three active client accounts: a nonprofit for awareness and community engagement, a law firm for local lead generation and client acquisition, and a creative workspace/hospitality brand targeting corporate teams, providing exposure to diverse industries and campaign types.

  • Interest in digital marketing, advertising, or analytics

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Support weekly reporting for each client, including pulling performance data, checking budget pacing, and flagging anything that needs attention
  • Help monitor active campaigns to ensure we're staying within approved monthly budgets across platforms
  • Assist in building and formatting client-facing weekly reports that are clear, accurate, and easy to understand
  • Work toward and obtain your Google Ads certification through Google Skillshop (required within your first 60 days)
  • Assist with campaign setup, keyword research, and ad copy review as you grow into the role
  • Maintain organized campaign notes and documentation across client accounts
  • Communicate proactively about any issues, questions, or things that seem off
