About The Position

Brown & Brown is seeking a Junior Operations Assistant/Administrative Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with gaining access to carrier platforms and ensuring their data is up-to-date. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Excellent prioritization skills - sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to sit at a desk on a consistent basis – approximately 3-5 hours per day.
  • Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Help new customers establish platform credentials with various partners.
  • Provide responsive customer support by diagnosing issues, troubleshooting problems, and delivering effective solutions.
  • Collect proper documentation and forms to maintain customer files accurately and consistently.
  • Process changes, terminations, and transfers between agencies.
  • Update customer information in internal databases, on carrier platforms, and with carrier partners.
  • Task and pend to ensure timely and accurate processing, follow up as needed.
  • Contribute or create a standard operation procedure for each process for team training and reference.
  • Provide clear communication and documentation of workflow status.
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
