For customer equipment, facilities or infrastructure projects, the Lead Project Manager is responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy and is guided by established policies and procedures. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for oversight of assigned projects and direct or indirect leadership of project resources for small to medium sized projects that may include equipment-only, product suite, or non-turnkey projects. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute work. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Leads projects with low to moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains information; develops skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
