About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Junior Missile Modeling and Simulation Engineer to contribute to the development and analysis of advanced missile defense simulations. The role involves designing, implementing, and validating complex simulations to assess system performance, inform design decisions, and support critical defense initiatives. The engineer develops and maintains missile and subsystem models, analyzes missile-system performance—particularly guidance, navigation, and control (GNC)—and supports constructive and virtual simulations for mission planning, concept development, and operational analysis. The position collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and communicates technical methodologies, results, and findings through reports, presentations, and stakeholder briefings. This is an onsite customer-site position with no telework option. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel is 0–10%. Relocation assistance is not available. The position is not contingent upon a contract award. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
