About The Position

This role is designed for a media buyer based in the U.S. who already has experience managing 6-figure monthly ad accounts on Meta and/or Google and is eager to advance their skills. The Junior Media Buyer will work closely with senior media buyers and a creative team to manage, optimize, launch, analyze, and scale campaigns across multiple platforms. The position offers the opportunity to learn how to manage massive ad accounts and scale campaigns across various platforms, states, and creative strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about ads, data analysis, and developing into an elite media buyer.

Requirements

  • Based in the U.S.
  • Experience working inside 6-figure monthly ad spend accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta and/or Google Ads.
  • Genuine enjoyment of media buying.
  • Hunger to eventually manage significantly larger budgets.
  • Enjoyment of looking at data and figuring out why performance is moving.
  • Understanding that creative is a major driver of paid advertising performance.
  • Interest in learning how winning ads and angles are scaled across markets.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Fast and reliable when something needs to get done.
  • Asks good questions and learns quickly.
  • Takes feedback well and implements it.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and optimizing high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max.
  • Work inside ad accounts spending 7 figures per month, while learning how campaigns at this scale are managed.
  • Work directly with senior media buyers on campaign strategy, optimization, scaling, and budget allocation.
  • Monitor campaign performance and flag potential problems, opportunities, or unusual changes.
  • Help identify campaigns, ads, states, and markets where we should scale, cut, or reallocate spend.
  • Launch new campaigns, ad sets, ads, and creative tests across Meta and Google.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly spend pacing across platforms and states.
  • Help maintain media buying Google Sheets and reporting for accurate performance data, spend tracking, and pacing.
  • Learn all top-performing ads, angles, campaign structures, and account setups.
  • Monitor campaigns over weekends when needed to ensure performance remains on track.
  • Turn campaigns on/off when directed by senior media buyers or leadership, including occasionally outside normal business hours.
  • Analyze ads and angles that are beginning to work and help expand them into additional states, markets, and platforms.
  • Analyze underperforming states and identify potential reasons for struggling performance.
  • Analyze winning ads from other states and platforms to find opportunities not yet tested.
  • Review creative diversity across campaigns and identify missing formats, styles, angles, or concepts.
  • Research competitors and bring interesting ads, strategies, and ideas to the team.
  • Communicate performance insights to the creative team to inform content creation.
  • Bring new ideas and observations to senior media buyers.
  • Continuously improve understanding of scaling, creative strategy, campaign structure, budget allocation, and performance analysis.
