About The Position

The Junior Logistics Specialist supports the logistics team with day-to-day shipping, inventory, and transportation activities to help ensure timely and accurate delivery of marine spare parts. The role assists with shipment coordination, inventory monitoring, shipping and customs documentation, logistics data entry and reporting, and communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and internal teams. The specialist identifies and reports logistical issues to senior staff and participates in training to build logistics knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of logistics processes and terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn ERP or logistics software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external partners.
• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and follow direction.
• Ability to recognize and promptly report logistical issues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational demands.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, tracking, and documenting inbound and outbound shipments.
• Help monitor inventory levels and communicate with warehouse staff to support accurate stock control.
• Prepare basic shipping and customs documents under supervision and follow company policies.
• Enter logistics data into systems and assist with reports on shipment status and inventory.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate logistics operations.
• Identify and report logistical issues and delays to senior staff for resolution.
• Participate in training programs to develop logistics knowledge and skills.
