Junior Link Builder
About The Position
Fox Pest Control is seeking a junior-level Link Builder with a passion for entrepreneurship and a self-employed mentality. Our ideal candidate will be interested in search engine optimization, analytics, reporting, link building, and keyword research. Ongoing training and mentorship will be provided. A desire to learn and excellent communication skills are a must! As a Link Builder, you will be responsible for growing our website's authority by earning high-quality backlinks from relevant organizations and websites. You will research potential opportunities, evaluate each prospect for SEO value and brand alignment, communicate with organizations to establish partnerships, and secure links that strengthen our online presence, improve search rankings, and support lead generation efforts. You will also manage existing backlink partnerships by tracking renewal timelines, coordinating renewals with partner organizations, and ensuring valuable links remain active and continue to support our long-term SEO strategy.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiasm about marketing and the internal drive to continuously learn in order to keep up with the latest trends
- Ability to measure the effectiveness of strategy and make decisions based on data
- Exceptional critical thinking and strategic thinking skills
- Extremely organized and great at managing to deadlines
- Proactive, Self Starter
- Strong writer
- Great written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Assist in organization and management of link building, including research, phone/email outreach, acquisition, tracking, and follow up
- Review, renew, and manage prior link placements
- Facilitate communication between our local branches
- Assist with various one-off Internet Marketing projects
