About The Position

We are looking for a Junior IT Systems Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations, user support, CRM administration, SaaS tools, and the technical support of our WordPress websites. This is a hands-on support role that works closely with the IT Systems & Operations Specialist to help keep company systems, tools, and websites running smoothly. The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, onboarding and offboarding support, vendor coordination, website support, and general IT administration. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in IT support, a working knowledge of WordPress, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable supporting WordPress websites, coordinating with vendors, and helping troubleshoot common website and system issues.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, technical support, or a similar role.
  • 1+ year of hands-on WordPress experience.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress administration and common website technical issues.
  • Basic understanding of hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, backups, staging environments, and website infrastructure.
  • Experience with user access management, SaaS administration, MFA, and basic security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Strong documentation, organization, troubleshooting, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors, internal teams, franchise partners, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of hands-on WordPress experience.
  • Experience working with external website or IT vendors.
  • Experience with ticketing or helpdesk systems.
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make, Airtable, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of web forms, CRM integrations, analytics tools, messaging platforms, or APIs.
  • Exposure to IT audits, compliance tracking, access reviews, or operational process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first-line support contact for WordPress website requests, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Support WordPress administration, including users, permissions, access, plugins, themes, and basic configuration.
  • Assist with website-related technical support, including hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, backups, staging environments, uptime monitoring, security updates, and deployment coordination.
  • Coordinate with external website developers, hosting providers, and maintenance vendors.
  • Assist with basic website troubleshooting, light HTML/CSS edits, forms, integrations, and third-party tools.
  • Help test, track, and document website updates, fixes, and vendor work.
  • Maintain website documentation, access records, vendor contacts, and technical processes.
  • Provide occasional after-hours support for critical website outages, security incidents, or high-priority operational issues.
  • Support daily IT operations for franchise partners and HQ staff.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, user accounts, access changes, MFA, and permission reviews.
  • Provide internal helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and escalation support.
  • Support Google Workspace and other SaaS platform administration.
  • Assist with workstation setup, equipment coordination, hardware tracking, and basic device provisioning.
  • Coordinate IT vendor tickets, service requests, renewals, and escalations, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain IT asset records, system inventories, SOPs, access lists, and internal documentation.
  • Support audits, system reviews, process improvements, and recurring IT operational tasks.
  • Create and maintain clear SOPs, checklists, and knowledge base articles.
  • Help improve repeatable workflows for IT requests, onboarding, offboarding, website changes, and vendor coordination.
  • Support basic no-code automation using tools such as Zapier, Make, forms, and workflow tools.
  • Assist with testing, reporting validation, integration troubleshooting, and operational follow-through.
