About The Position

This is a training program designed for refugees or displaced persons in Canada looking to build or advance their career in technology. The Junior IT Analyst Program offers free training for eligible jobseekers. It is best suited for beginners aiming to start a career in IT, with no previous IT experience or certification required. Participants will learn IT support, networking, cloud fundamentals, operating systems, and cybersecurity basics, including the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and Google AI Essentials Certificate. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements

• Be 18+ years old
• Have a high school diploma, GED, CAEC or equivalent
• Have CLB 7–8 English for non-native English speakers
• Be eligible to work full-time in Canada with a valid SIN
• Be unemployed, underemployed, or facing financial barriers
• Meet the applicable income and other program requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable using email, the internet and common computer applications
• No previous IT experience required
• No prior IT certification required
