About The Position

Buc-ee’s is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to help create high-quality graphics for Buc-ee’s branded marketing materials. The role involves designing materials for a variety of projects, preparing files for print production, and collaborating with project stakeholders and team members to refine creative work. A portfolio of past work is required when applying. This is an in-office, Monday–Friday position in Pearland near SH 288 and Hwy 518. Remote work is not available. The employee must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Opportunity for advancement is available.

Requirements

Three to five years of experience working in a graphic designer environment.
A portfolio of past work is required.
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft applications.
Project and time management skills and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
A keen eye and attention to detail.
Ability to produce work at a high level while adhering to deadlines and manufacturer requirements.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

A college degree in graphic design is strongly preferred.
Experience with printing and print production technology is a plus.
Photography and photography techniques are a plus.

Responsibilities

Design creative graphics for different types of marketing materials as needed.
Understand project requirements and scope of work.
Prepare final production files for release into print production on all projects.
Maintain the job filing system.
Present creative ideas to project stakeholders.
Conduct market research for product competitive set analysis.
Apply understanding of how layout, typography, and imagery work in a composition.
Use feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve project outcomes.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
