About The Position

Buc-ee's is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to create high-quality graphics for Buc-ee’s branded marketing materials. The role involves understanding project requirements, developing creative ideas, preparing production-ready files for print, and incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders. The position is in-office, Monday through Friday, in Pearland near SH 288 and Hwy 518; remote work is not available. A portfolio of past work is required when applying. Opportunity for advancement is available.

Requirements

Three to five years of experience working in a graphic designer environment.
A portfolio of work is required.
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft applications.
Project and time management skills and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
A keen eye and attention to detail.
Ability to produce work at a high level while adhering to deadlines and manufacturer requirements.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

A college degree in graphic design is strongly preferred.
Experience with printing and print production technology.
Photography and photography techniques.

Responsibilities

Design creative graphics for different types of marketing materials as needed.
Understand project requirements and scope of work.
Prepare final production files for release into print production.
Maintain the job filing system.
Present creative ideas to project stakeholders.
Conduct market research for product competitive set analysis.
Apply an understanding of how layout, typography, and imagery work together in a composition.
Use feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve project outcomes.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
