  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with ESRI products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop 10.x, ArcGIS Online/Portal/WebApps, and standard GIS/CAD formats.
  • Strong cartographic capability with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear, compelling visual outputs.
  • Experience working with field‑collected data — organizing, validating, analyzing, and mapping under time‑sensitive project conditions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within fast‑paced, multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GIS workflow automation, mobile data capture, spatial ETL tools, geoprocessing, and QA/QC is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers and consultants to interpret project requirements and translate them into geospatial solutions.
  • Create GIS data from multiple digital and analog sources, including CAD, text, tabular and geospatial formats.
  • Conduct data conversion between file types and maintain data integrity throughout project lifecycles.
  • Produce high‑quality 2D maps, figures, charts and presentation materials to support proposals, reporting and field programs.
  • Organize, integrate and publish data using web‑based platforms such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Apply rigorous QA/QC processes in line with WSP’s global standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency and repeatability.
  • Support development and implementation of GIS workflows, geospatial analysis tools, mobile data‑capture solutions and automation initiatives (spatial ETL, Python, model building).
  • Contribute to the creation and management of enterprise‑level geospatial databases.
  • Participate in continuous knowledge sharing, mentorship and technical growth within the geospatial community at WSP.
