Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Registered, or eligible to register, as an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT).
- Experience with fieldwork in environmental assessment, remediation, or monitoring.
- Familiarity with tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, environmental sampling equipment, or data analysis software.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from seasoned environmental practitioners.
- Ability to travel for project work across the Prairies & North region.
Responsibilities
- Support field programs for contaminated sites, including Phase I/II ESAs, soil and groundwater sampling, remediation, and monitoring activities.
- Assist with data collection, data management, and preparation of technical deliverables related to site assessment and remediation.
- Contribute to environmental engineering design tasks for remediation systems and site‑specific solutions under the guidance of senior professionals.
- Participate in environmental impact studies, risk assessments, permitting, and regulatory submissions.
- Apply relevant provincial and federal environmental regulations, with a focus on contaminated sites guidance and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Prairies & North region to advance environmental and remediation projects.
