Requirements

  • Post-secondary STEM degree
  • Working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, C++, or other programming languages for technical analysis, or simulation, algorithm, or AI/ML development
  • Willing to work onsite in a classified area or lab environment
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organizational and interpersonal skills
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support advanced technology demonstrations, flight tests, and engineering analysis for defense and aerospace customers.
  • Perform mission and test planning, technical analysis, and post-test evaluation for missile, radar, telemetry, RF communications, and space systems.
  • Develop and apply modeling, simulation, and analysis tools using Python, MATLAB, and other engineering software.
  • Conduct analyses such as missile trajectory generation and evaluation, telemetry link-margin analysis, sensor and radar performance analysis, and satellite communications and orbital analysis.
  • Collaborate with modeling and simulation engineers, test analysts, algorithm developers, and other technical specialists to solve multidisciplinary engineering problems.
  • Develop engineering tools, algorithms, visualizations, and analysis products to support mission planning, technical decisions, and reporting.
  • Communicate analysis methods, results, and recommendations through technical reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Depending on background and project needs, support specialized analyses in areas such as hypersonic aerodynamics, propulsion, electromagnetic effects, RF radiation patterns and interference, signal processing, or data science.
