About The Position

Calagaz Printing is seeking an eager-to-learn Junior Digital Press Operator to build skills on its production floor. Working alongside a Senior Digital Press Operator, this role helps operate and maintain digital printing presses and deliver quality work on schedule. The position includes hands-on training and mentorship, with an opportunity to advance as skills grow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort with basic math and reading a ruler.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to follow written instructions for machine setup and care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital printing equipment.
• Inspect print jobs for quality and color accuracy.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Sales to understand job requirements.
• Complete all steps listed on digital work orders.
• Operate bindery equipment and package finished jobs as needed.
• Record job specifications, quantities, and production times.
• Help troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Keep equipment and the work area clean and organized.
• Help track and restock paper, ink, and other supplies.
• Follow safety guidelines.
