Junior DevSecOps Engineer
About The Position
Gritter Francona is seeking a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to provide comprehensive engineering and sustainment support for U.S. Customs and Border Protection cloud environments, ensuring coverage, performance, and compliance with security standards and best practices. The engineer integrates security throughout the software development and operations lifecycle by implementing security automation, testing, and monitoring within DevOps processes. The role develops security controls for CI/CD pipelines, manages security scanning tools, and collaborates with development and operations teams to embed security practices. It also involves infrastructure-as-code security, container security, and cloud security controls to support secure and efficient software delivery. The engineer supports security incident response in development and production environments and contributes to DevSecOps strategy and continuous improvement of security integration across development and operations workflows.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
- Ability to work on-site in the Ashburn, Virginia area.
