Requirements

Experience with data sourcing, data cleansing, and data preparation
Proficient with the Python programming language and significant experience using Python’s data analysis and machine learning libraries such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn; familiarity with NLP tooling such as spaCy and Hugging Face
Experience with or foundational knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including how they can accelerate data analysis and automation tasks, as well as an understanding of their limitations, reliability, and responsible use
Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Innovative, creative, out-of-box thinking
Experiment design and algorithm development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or related scientific field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing data science in corporate setting
Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen

Nice To Haves

Collaborative coding experience and competency with Git
Experience integrating machine learning applications into production pipelines as well as monitoring and retraining models
Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow
Familiarity with big data concepts, architectures, and platforms (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses) and modern distributed data processing tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
Experience working in cloud environment (AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

Integrates and extracts relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to enable analytical solutions
Conducts analytics leveraging predictive modeling, machine learning, simulation, optimization, and other techniques to deliver insights or develop analytical solutions to achieve business objectives
Develops and implements new research objectives, establishes project priorities, defines methods of approach, executes the study, and provides scientific conclusions
Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
