Data Scientist-Junior
About The Position
The Data Scientist-Junior will support future Defense & Intelligence Programs across multiple OCONUS and CONUS locations to include Stuttgart, Germany, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Tampa, FL. These roles have an anticipated start date of late May 2026. The Data Scientist-Junior will perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data including CAI and PAI sources. They will support ML model development and Python-based analytics, including entity resolution and applied statistics. Additionally, they will assist with API data integrations, containerization workflows, and development of Streamlit-based GUIs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and Bash, including API development and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with SQL and large-scale systems such as PostgreSQL, Hive, or Trino.
- Basic understanding of ML concepts and familiarity with Flask or FastAPI.
- Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance required.
- 0–3 years of related experience, including academic or internship-based data science work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- US Citizenship Required.
- On-Site 5 days
