About The Position

The Junior Data Analyst plays a supporting role in data-related activities within our organization. The role will work closely with senior team members to collect, analyze, and present data insights that inform decision-making and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or holding an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, business, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to respond to questions or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
  • Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and maintain manual reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
  • Review existing manual reports and assist in identifying those that can be rewritten or automated using SQL.
  • Perform data cleaning and transformation as necessary to prepare for analysis.
  • Create visually appealing information charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Help maintain data quality standards by identifying and resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and providing status updates on assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish data quality protocols.
  • Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.
  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
  • Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines.
  • Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately.
  • Must be able to react to change productively.
