About The Position

SkillBridge unpaid internship opportunity to start a career in data center commissioning. The technician works alongside senior engineers, learns the trade hands-on, and builds expertise in the systems that support critical facilities.

Requirements

• Technical degree or trade background in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in executing commissioning test procedures.
• Document test results, take field measurements, and photograph installations.
• Support punchlist walkthroughs and verification activities.
• Learn to read electrical one-lines, mechanical piping diagrams, and control sequences.
• Help maintain commissioning logs and project tracking tools.
