About The Position

A premier personal injury and employment law firm in Beverly Hills is seeking a junior personal injury attorney. We cover a range of practice areas, including slip and fall, premise liability, dog bite injuries, workplace discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and much, much more. The ideal candidate will be excited and motivated to handle cases from inception to settlement, with little oversight. Only candidates who want a long-term placement (future partnership) will be considered.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience litigating personal injury cases (open to defense experience)
• CA barred and in good standing

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insurance companies and medical providers to obtain records and update information on cases
• Interview clients to understand their case’s details, identifying issues, and determining a strategy for settlement or trial
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement offers
• Negotiate settlements with the other party’s attorney on behalf of clients
• Prepare cases for trial by interviewing witnesses, acquiring evidence such as medical records, and conducting investigations
• Help clients prepare for mediation sessions or settlement conferences with opposing counsel
• Prepare and filing court documents such as complaints or motions
