About The Position

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation department. Newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply. Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff. The role involves managing a docket of cases to resolution, including preparing clients for and attending depositions, responding to client inquiries, and providing direction to non-attorneys. The ideal candidate will be a team player, bringing positivity to the workplace, leading by example, and participating in team events. Feedback to management is also encouraged to ensure optimal client performance.

Requirements

CA State Barred
Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Nice To Haves

Preferably reside in the state of California
Doctors' deposition experience

Responsibilities

Managing a docket of cases to resolution
Preparing client for deposition
Attending depositions
Invoicing Depositions
Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
Participation in team events during work and after work hours
Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
