About The Position

ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The Administrative Human Resource (HR) Specialist – Junior will provide administrative and human resource support to ONR Global personnel. The selected candidate will accept technical tasking and task prioritization direction from the ONR Global Personnel Officer / N1 Department Head, who will serve as the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for this position. The role will support a variety of personnel administration activities including recruiting and selection support, onboarding logistics for newly reported personnel, briefing preparation, conference and meeting coordination, and assistance in resolving administrative, logistical, and financial HR-related issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, possess experience in Navy personnel administration, and have the ability to support multiple administrative and HR tasks in a fast-paced government environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least five (5) years of experience in Human Resource Management, OR ten (10) years of experience in Human Resource Management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Navy personnel administration, supporting a broad range of HR-related tasks and customer requirements.
  • Experience supporting personnel recruiting and selection processes.
  • Experience supporting onboarding logistics for newly assigned personnel.
  • Experience preparing briefings, reports, and administrative documentation.
  • Experience coordinating and supporting conference and meeting planning and staffing, including video teleconference (VTC) arrangements.
  • Ability to assist with the resolution of administrative, logistical, and financial HR-related issues.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting ONR personnel and leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. Navy Human Resource Development, including assisting with training activities and monitoring personnel performance and professional development opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Research & Development Establishment (NR&DE).
