Requirements

1+ year of experience in an accounting position is preferred.
CPA student currently in the program.
Degree in Accounting.
A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do’ attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Responsibilities

Successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately.
Gaining new skills and experience through learning from your colleagues.
Aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units.
Compiling data for financial analysis.
Handling data entry and invoice issuance.
Contributing to monthly accounts receivable reporting.
