About The Position

As a Junior Accountant, you will analyze and reconcile financial and statistical data to ensure accuracy and facilitate effective reporting. You will play a key role in investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus or a willingness to quickly learn.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare journal entries for month-end close.
• Reconcile accounts efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.
• Prepare financial data, including ad hoc analyses and Sales & Use/Business Tax reports as needed.
• Assist supervisors and team members with time-sensitive projects and special assignments.
• Contribute to departmental efficiency by supporting cross-functional collaboration.
