Requirements

  • At minimum, an accounting diploma.
  • Working towards CPA designation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentary skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment.
  • Work well in a team environment and within a team.
  • Legally eligible to travel internationally when required.
  • Ability to work with industry software (Navision) and previous Accounting or ERP software.
  • Strong excel skills required.
  • Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
  • Minimum 1 years of accounting experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation industry knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience with large ERP platform preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Investigate and assist in resolving account variances.
  • Completes bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Assist in the preparation and support of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including working papers and supporting schedules.
  • Prepares various accrual tasks in order to record monthly entries and reversing entries and is able to present information which explains the entries.
  • Assist in audit processes by pulling backups for auditor requested items.
  • Maintain and update process documentation to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports to support the finance team.
  • Support the senior finance team building reports that will be used by management as directed.
  • Prepare documentation, responses, and supporting materials for internal requests across finance, other departments and shareholders.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.
