About The Position

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an accounting position is preferred.
• CPA student currently in the program.
• Degree in Accounting.
• A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately.
• Gaining new skills and experience through learning from your colleagues.
• Aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units.
• Compiling data for financial analysis, handling data entry and invoice issuance, and contributing to monthly accounts receivable reporting.
