Junior Account Manager, Employee Benefits
About The Position
Noguchi & Associates, Inc., an Ori-gen Family Company, is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to build a career in Employee Benefits. This role offers the opportunity to learn about employee benefits, renewals, compliance, and industry trends. The company provides support for obtaining the Hawaii Life & Health Insurance License, covering licensing costs. The position involves supporting Account Managers with daily client service, assisting with various benefit accounts (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary), preparing renewal proposals and client materials, aiding in client onboarding and open enrollment, resolving client questions, maintaining records, and developing client relationships through responsive service.
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service, insurance, administrative, or related experience is a plus.
- College degree is a plus.
- Hawaii Life & Health Insurance License not required at hire - we will help you obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Learn about employee benefits, renewals, compliance, and industry trends.
- Take Hawaii Life & Health Insurance classes and obtain license within 3 months.
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day client service.
- Assist with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit accounts.
- Help prepare renewal proposals, benefit comparisons, and client materials.
- Assist with client onboarding, open enrollment, and implementation activities.
- Help resolve eligibility, enrollment, billing, and service questions.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Develop strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
