BSI Corporate Benefits is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee and grow an assigned portfolio of clients as part of our dynamic, client-focused Account Management team. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or other related field.
  • 2-3 years of health insurance experience
  • Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of employment.
  • Understanding of Health Insurance and Health Savings Accounts
  • Experience reading and interpreting reports from insurance carriers.
  • Ability to work under significant pressure with frequent interruptions.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to concurrently handle a large number of issues.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present professionally via in-person, online, phone, and written communication methods.
  • Exceptional active listening skills
  • Strong computer skills inclusive of MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to establish rapport and relationships with clients and carrier representatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of client benefits administration, client communications related to employee benefits, and the delegation of customer service needs.
  • Serve as the point of contact at the HR level for all groups in assigned book of business.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all current and prospective clients.
  • Support the strategic renewal process for groups in assigned book of business.
  • Prepare client presentations related to Pre-Renewal, Renewal, Year-End Review, Multi-Year Planning, Open Enrollment etc.
  • Conduct educational and health/wellness-related meetings with clients and their employees.
  • Compile pertinent information from the client to prepare an RFP.
  • Support the development of new business.
  • Manage all client compliance activities.
  • Develop an internal process of tracking timelines and notifications for client compliance programs.
  • Review and reconcile client billing statements.
  • Update client files.
  • Manage carrier set up for groups in assigned book of business.
  • Conduct and lead Open Enrollment presentations in person and virtually.
  • Assist the Account Director in mentoring and training of Client Service Coordinator if applicable.
  • Support the Senior Account Executive & Producer with other tasks as assigned
