About The Position
The Jumpstart Summer Leadership Program is a two-day immersive experience designed to introduce motivated accounting students to the possibilities within public accounting. Participants will collaborate with peers, network with professionals and firm leaders, and engage in team challenges and learning sessions. The program aims to provide a fresh perspective on public accounting, build a strong network, and offer a clear vision for career paths, potentially leading to an internship with Blue & Co. The program emphasizes bold ideas, real connections, and endless opportunities.
Requirements
- Rising sophomores & rising juniors
- Accounting major on track to meet CPA requirements
- Minimum GPA 3.2
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular and volunteer activities
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with motivated accounting students from across Blue & Co. markets
- Build lasting relationships and network with accounting professionals, firm leaders, and future colleagues
- Enjoy an evening at Great American Ballpark – Cincinnati Reds
- Participate in team challenges, interactive presentations, and hands-on group learning sessions
- Contribute through a collaborative community service project that makes an impact while sharpening leadership skills
Benefits
- All program expenses are covered by Blue & Co., excluding travel.
- For students traveling from Texas, travel expenses will be covered.
