Fellows teach one course per semester, participate in scholarly forums, develop pedagogical skills, and receive professional development to prepare for academic careers. Each fellow receives a dedicated faculty mentor in their program. The fellowship runs from August 16, 2027, through May 31, 2028, at Ithaca College’s Ithaca, New York campus. Preference will be given to candidates in the final year of dissertation writing who are actively drafting and revising. Candidates who have demonstrated commitment to minoritized communities through teaching, service, and/or research are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications should include an unofficial transcript, a cover letter describing teaching pedagogy and interest in an academic teaching career, research agenda and dissertation completion timeline, and anticipated curricular contributions to the chosen department; a CV; a proposed course syllabus; and contact information for two references.
