The Essex Vicinage is seeking a dynamic, detailed oriented individual with excellent organizational awareness, self-management, technical competence, customer service, and interpersonal skills to perform a variety of confidential administrative, clerical, and secretarial support functions for the Civil Division Manager.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in an office environment performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: preparing and analyzing legal documents, processing legal or other documents, transcribing information, and scheduling meetings or appointments.
  • Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
  • Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting.
  • Must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey within one year of hire, unless an exemption is granted.
