About The Position

Flex is seeking a Jr. Program Manager in Columbia, SC, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The role supports management of cross-functional team resources and support areas, and helps deliver products and services in line with client requirements. The Jr. Program Manager identifies client needs, negotiates implementation terms, and communicates them to project operations, adding value for Flex and its customers. The position supports the Program Manager with project reporting, analysis, customer communications, issue resolution, and coordination with cross-functional teams. It contributes to customer reviews and helps monitor commitments and agreed targets for delivery, quality, testing, materials, and processes.

Requirements

Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent, with experience using computer applications.
At least 2 years of general administrative experience.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, associates, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Support the Program Manager in generating reports and analyses for client-related issues, including materials, quality, and testing.
Help monitor actions arising from project opportunities or needs to meet internal metrics and/or customer requirements.
Help coordinate or escalate operational problems when projects lack sufficient resources to meet established commitments.
Coordinate with the cross-functional team to collect data for general presentations and customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
Coordinate resolution of problems or extraordinary situations involving product shipments.
Coordinate or escalate systemic problems or processes in the supply chain.
Coordinate or escalate troubleshooting related to on-time delivery (OTD) of products with the cross-functional team.
Coordinate cross-functional evaluation of demand loads and operational responses, including material shortages, Can Do, E&O, capacity, and shipment plans, for communication to the customer.
Support the Program Manager in customer relationship activities, including monthly or quarterly reviews, or other reviews as needed, to communicate deliveries, open commitments, and account progress.
Support coordination with the cross-functional team of actions needed to meet customer-agreed targets for quality, testing, materials, and processes.
