About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hard-working Jr. Maintenance Technician for our Southeast Houston client. This is a temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $19/hr. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety required.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read equipment manuals preferred.
• Familiarity with machine calibration procedures and measuring instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery.
• Inspect equipment for wear or damage.
• Support machine startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
