About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hard-working Jr. Maintenance Technician who is bilingual in Mandarin for our Southeast Houston client. This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay rate of $31.25/hr. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm or 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with international production teams required.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read equipment manuals preferred.
• Familiarity with machine calibration procedures and measuring instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of production line equipment.
• Work closely with senior engineers for training and guidance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine calibrations, equipment adjustments, and corrective repairs.
• Communicate with production teams in China and submit maintenance reports to overseas teams and management.
• Inspect equipment for wear or potential failures.
• Support machine startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability.
